CNA has been one of my favourite stock to watch. I came to know about this company by one of my friend in Canslim forum. After looking at its company profile and portfolio, I was very happy as I've found a gem, it was trading at 0.24 during then. So I decided to buy 10lots using my CPF. Truly, after a week or two, it started to move. I bought some at 0.265 when the MACD had crossover and above the zero centerline.
The price move up to more than 0.3 within next two days and when I saw it start to move down a bit, I decided to take some profit at 0.31. Almost 17% profit within just three days is actually very good. So I decide to wait for it to move down before re-enter again. But next day, it start to move up again, but I din manage to catch it. Within two months, it move up to 0.795 and I regret selling it too early. So in order to prevent such situation to happen again, selling too early, I decided to just follow the MACD for selling and buying. But I still struggle with it.
Why CNA is a gem to me during then? This is mainly because of the high profile project they and handling and with Temasek holdings as one of their shareholders. If Temasek holdings is willing to hold shares for a company which is just trading at 0.24 during then, I think that is something that I need to think about - its potential.
With its aquisition of Herocan, a waste water treatment company and its involvement in supplying the treated water for Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing, it has further build up its reputation and recongnition in PRC.
Also, Saudi Economic & Devt Co has recently subscribe 40m new Co shares at 0.335 apiece, which make it the single largest shareholder with 20.65% stake. This will help company to further penetrate into Control and Automation business in middle east.
With all this great potential, I think this is a stock that should be closely watch.
